Spotlight Schools Named a "Bright Spot" for Local News

Northwestern University's recently released State of Local News 2024 report noted that "the local news crisis in the U.S. is deepening" due to an increase in the number of newspapers shutting down. But the report also had some good news to share. And our tiny yet mighty newsroom was part of it.

Spotlight Schools was listed among the "Bright Spots in the Local News Landscape" in recognition of the work we are doing to rebuild local news.
